Amongst the university’s alumni is entrepreneur and supercar designer Dr Tony Keating, who studied Automobile Engineering at Bolton Institute during the nineties, went on to achieve an MBA and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in 2013. The course enabled him to begin work in the engineering industry and in 1998 he set up his own business. 

Tony was born in Manchester and is one of the university’s most successful Alumni. Now CEO of Keating Supercars, his company is currently celebrating a decade in business, and preparing to drive full throttle into another decade with the Keating Berus.
